1. General standard
Looupe must remain useful, respectful and safe. These rules apply to profiles, posts, comments, media, reposts, community names and other interactions.
2. Respect and protected characteristics
Disagreement is permitted; targeted insults, humiliation, harassment, intimidation and coordinated hostility are not. Racism, misogyny and attacks or exclusion based on origin, colour, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability or another protected characteristic are prohibited.
3. Threats and sexual harm
Credible threats, encouragement of violence, instructions intended to cause harm, non-consensual sexual content, threats to distribute intimate material, coercive solicitation and sexual exploitation are prohibited.
4. Privacy
Do not publish another person's private contact details, documents, schedule, precise location or personal information without authorization. Images and recordings must comply with consent requirements and law.
5. Deception, misinformation and fraud
Impersonation, falsifying a status, manipulating verification, knowingly presenting harmful falsehoods as fact, scams, deceptive fundraising and attempts to obtain confidential credentials or information are prohibited. Good-faith opinions and criticism remain permitted.
6. Dangerous content and technical abuse
Content facilitating serious offences, malware, phishing, unauthorized access or circumvention of Looupe safeguards is prohibited. Spam, abusive automation, coordinated vote manipulation, fake engagement and bulk data extraction are prohibited.
7. Community-specific rules
Communities may adopt additional rules consistent with these platform rules. Community teams must enforce them in good faith and cannot permit conduct prohibited by Looupe.
8. Reports and enforcement
Submit reports in good faith. False, repetitive or harassing reports may lead to action. Reporters receive confirmation; Looupe may send a generic notice when it takes action without revealing confidential information.
Depending on severity, context and history, community teams or Looupe may warn, restrict a feature, remove content or a repost, suspend, ban or delete an account, remove a role or delete a community. Looupe may review or replace a community decision.
9. Moderator responsibilities and circumvention
Community administrators and moderators must protect members, handle reports discreetly and avoid arbitrary or retaliatory enforcement. Evading a block, restriction, suspension or ban through another account, community or person is prohibited.
10. Acceptance and contact
Using Looupe requires compliance with these rules. Contact contact@looupe.ca for a problem that cannot be reported in the application.
