1. Our commitment
Looupe strictly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), and any content or conduct that endangers children and teenagers. These standards apply throughout the platform, including posts, comments, media, profiles and communities. They apply even when the service is not intended for children. A child or minor means anyone under 18 for these standards.
2. Prohibited content and conduct
- Creating, posting, requesting, promoting or distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including computer-generated or manipulated depictions.
- Sexualizing a minor or encouraging sexual abuse or exploitation of a minor.
- Approaching or manipulating a minor for sexual purposes, including grooming.
- Sextortion, threats to distribute intimate images, or solicitation of sexual images of a minor.
- Facilitating trafficking, recruitment or commercial sexual exploitation of a minor, or sharing links to such material.
3. Reporting a concern
In Looupe, open the content’s “…” menu, then select “Report”. Choose “Sexual content” or “Illegal content” when available, and briefly describe the risk to a minor. These reasons are routed to Looupe platform moderation. You can also block the account involved.
If you cannot use in-app reporting, email contact@looupe.ca with the subject “Child safety”. Provide the content or account link or identifier and details needed to locate it. Do not download, attach or redistribute images or videos of child sexual abuse to make a report.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact emergency services or local authorities. Reporting to Looupe is not a substitute for urgent help.
4. Moderation and action
The Looupe team reviews reports and takes appropriate action when it becomes aware of content or conduct violating these standards: removing or restricting access to content, suspending or banning accounts, and intervening in communities involved. Child sexual abuse material is not permitted and must be removed when identified.
Information needed for review is handled confidentially, with access limited to authorized people. Details about individuals and decisions are not disclosed to the reporter. Our privacy policy explains data protection and possible retention obligations.
5. Cooperation with authorities
Looupe must comply with applicable child safety laws. Confirmed CSAM must be reported to the relevant regional authority or the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), depending on the jurisdiction and applicable obligations. Retention and transmission of necessary information must be limited, secure and lawful.
6. Contact
For child safety concerns on Looupe, email contact@looupe.ca with the subject “Child safety”. This contact reaches the Looupe team responsible for directing these reports. Do not send passwords or illegal material by email.
